Welcome to one of the most exciting parts of planning your wedding - choosing where it will actually happen! Your venue holds a special place amongst your vendor team because it is the backdrop of all of your photos, the legit place you will say "i do" and the location where you will celebrate with all of your friends and family. I've listed out some of my absolute favorite venues in Colorado below, ranging from a huge wedding to a tiny elopement!
Disclaimer: WedLocks may not travel to all of these locations.
For your huge guest list and complete wedding weekend: DEVIL'S THUMB RANCH
Devil's Thumb is the perfect place for an ultimate Colorado-esque wedding. It's got all the mountain views you could ever think of, all the horses you could ever need, and the perfect resort for all of your guests to crash at for the weekend! That's right, Devil's Thumb is also a resort and if you're planning on a full-blown wedding weekend, definitely take a look at them.
For your elopement with a place for you and bae to crash afterwards: THE LOFTHOUSE
The Lofthouse is actually an airbnb in Black Forest, but you can host small events there. The house is beautifully designed and styled on both the inside and the outside with lots of natural light and it will double perfectly as a place for you to get ready. It includes lots of neutral colors as well, so any decor or color scheme will work perfectly. I personally love how unique this space is and it is quite a bit different from your traditional "Colorado" style.
For your mountain wedding close enough to Denver: NORTHSTAR GATHERINGS
Can you even believe this reception space? Northstar is the perfect place for insane mountain views but only 30-40 minutes away from Denver. Trust me, this view is even better in person! They allow you to take photos all around their property and they truly turn out so beautiful. I'm dying for us to have a wedding here!
For your city wedding: THE RAMBLE
Okay, this place is perfect. A boutique hotel right in the middle of downtown with enough rooms for your entire guest list but just enough so that you can buy the place out. They even have this amazing outdoor space in front of this badass neon sign. The color scheme is to die for, and the food and drinks are even more so. The bar inside the hotel is actually called "Death & Co."
For your destination wedding or elopement: THE WYMAN
Located in Silverton, Colorado, The Wyman is a bit of a drive from Denver. However, it's the perfect place for that destination wedding or elopement you've been dreaming of! The hotel itself is beautiful and apart from the photo above, is a lot of more muted and neutral tones. While they only have a few rooms, there are plenty of other places for more guests to stay in the small town of Silverton. The hotel is also ideally placed next to spaces where you can get those mountain views for photos and ceremonies, and then enjoy all that the hotel has to offer for your reception.
Well, that's all I have for you guys this time! I'm in love with all of these venues and truly think they offer something a little different than just your average Colorado wedding. Let me know if you have any other questions, or want any more recommendations!
xoxo,
